What can my podiatrist do for me?Podiatrists treat foot and lower limb pathologies. They diagnose, assess and treat various conditions from skin and nail disorders to arthritis, acute sports injuries and diabetes.

Does my private health fund cover my podiatry consults and treatments?The services and treatments covered by your health fund provider are dependent on your level of cover. The best way to find out is by contacting your health fund provider prior to your consultation.

Do I need a referral to come see a podiatrist?No referral required for a consultation. However your GP may provide you with a referral for a particular condition they are treating you for.

Does Medicare cover my podiatry treatments?Medicare will only contribute to appointment fees where an EPC referral is obtained from the GP.

How long is my appointment?The duration of your consultation is dependent on the service and/or treatment that is being performed by our podiatrist. The appointments vary between 30 - 60 minutes.
